Personal Notion

Picture
The process of making art comes from an innate force.  Every thought, musing or daydream is a creation of our minds and of our hearts. These irrational, sometimes surreal contemplations are what I choose to manifest through various mediums and explorations: they’re my lofty notions.

The infinite Universe, the sea, love, sisterhood, kinship, compassion: all of these inspire me. Even suffering is beautiful, if we can observe it without judgment. It might be a painstaking process but the end result is sublime:
We heal.

The wandering gypsy spent numerous years traveling the world in restless and sometimes reckless pursuit of answers to riddles and mysteries.  My pragmatic side spent an equal amount of time sitting and pondering what I would choose to dedicate the majority of my life to.  After much introspection, it became clear that what I desire most is to help create a healing world while existing in a creative environment.

Through basic goodness, prayer, looking within, yoga, compassion and of course through art, i try every day to open my heart to the universe and the beautiful beings in it.  May the light shine brightly from within us all.

Thank you for visiting & stay well,
christina julianna.
